Group Classes:

Rhianna’s group classes focus on the balance between Flexibility and Strength, using Breath, Alignment and Intelligent Sequencing to create a Safe, Balanced and Deep movement practice. 

Asana or Yoga Exercises have a profound effect on the body; affecting the entire physical system:

  • Asana target and support the circulatory, digestive, endocrine, immune, lymphatic, muscular, nervous, reproductive, respiratory and skeletal systems.
  • If you are stable or stiff, yoga exercises can help you improve your flexibility.
  • If you are flexible, yoga exercises can help you improve your strength.
  • Yoga postures are isometric exercises toning and massaging every part of your body including the glands, organs and endocrine system, increasing circulation to stimulate, heal and eliminate toxins from the body.
  • A flowing yoga class increases your heart rate providing a cardio-vascular experience without negatively impacting your joints
  • By developing breath awareness we release tension, calm the nervous system and learn to focus the mind.

Yoga can:

  • Balance the muscular system alleviating chronic pain and stiffness
  • Improve posture, strength, flexibility, balance, endurance and co-ordination
  • Manage stress and improve concentration
  • Regulate weight

Rhainna teaches regularly scheduled Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced classes at Universal Light Centre, The Yorkville Club and Yoga Plus.
